Open Arms Community Center Youth Programs combines the knowledge, trained and certified staff to offer the following services:
- Self-Advocacy: Learn to self-advocate beyond high school, acquire self-awareness, work readiness and soft skills. At the end of course receive a certificate of completion. (Ages of 14-21 years old)
Youth Peer Mentoring: one-on-one services with certified youth peer mentor to become independent acquiring life skills, develop a career plan, and employment goal.
Pre-placement Training: Receive pre employment transition services to acquire skills to help obtain and retain employment.
On-The-Job Training: Be matched with worksite in the labor market such as customer service, food industry, and retail. Train at a work site acquiring employment skills while being paid. (Ages of 14-21 years old)
Employment specialists, certified staff, and youth peer mentors are available to receive new participants for the program online.
Open Arms Community Center is a Vocational Rehabilitation Employment Vendor Provider
