About Us

Who We Are
Open Arms Community Center is a, community based, human services agency serving Miami Dade County residents. Open Arms Community Center was founded in 2009 as a 501 (c) (3) Public Charity Organization in the state of Florida. The Board of Directors participates in capacity building training in its efforts to diversify funding and increase revenues to sustain programs.

The agency networks within the community through contracts, partnerships and MOUs with City of Miami Beach, City of Miami Access Hope, the State of Florida Department of Children and Families, Career Source South Florida, USDA, and Partners for Promises.

Since 2009 the agency has been aware of the needs of the multicultural community, and through its efforts, dedication and experience in the social service, it has continuously develop to be a community resource and service center offering an array of services for families and individuals ensuring all service needs are being met.

The Board of directors and management team works together in its efforts to increase funding and collaboration from other community organization and businesses.

Our Mission
To return hope and transform lives in the community serving families and individuals in crisis by providing the resources, tools and referrals these individuals and families need to improve their lives and become self sufficient.

Helping families and individuals reach self-sufficiency.

Core Values
To improve the conditions of social service for the economically disadvantage population in Miami-Dade County.

To facilitate the integration to jobs those that will benefit the Head of Household and other unemployed individuals.

To improve basic education in the community and promote higher education.
